Description
Kentucky writer, professor and poet laureate talks about how he started writing, being a college professor at the University of Kentucky, and the importance of the Kentucky River Valley in his work and his understanding of life. He reads his story “Sunday.” He talks about his opposition to strip mining and critiques the environmental movement’s inability to acknowledge the need for replacement of jobs in environment-damaging industries.
