- Description
The first portion of this video is a documentary about Wheelwright, Kentucky, once the "model mining town for the country," produced by Mountain Community Television in the 1970s. Includes interviews with former coal miners and citizens of the town, contemporary footage and historical still images of the town. In the second segment, Headwaters producers interview Anna Jean Tackett, coordinator of a successful project to rebuild Wheelwright through a collaboration with local, state and federal agencies.
