- Contains material related to the color documentary The Millstone Sewing Center, a 1972 release. The film documents a community center where local widows and residents work as volunteers to produce new clothes for the poor. Seamstresses describe how they use Office of Economic Opportunity funds and Salvation Army hand-me-downs to make and remodel clothing for poor families in two eastern Kentucky counties. Includes interviews with Center director Mabel Kiser on how she conceived of the Center and located a building, fabrics, and funding.
