Contains material related to the color documentary Ramsey Trade Fair, a 1973 release.  The film documents a weekly trade fair day in the coalfield community of Ramsey, Virginia.  Local residents and merchants are shown interacting, selling, swapping goods, and passing the time.   The trade fair is used as a point of departure for a consideration of rural living and the lost art of barter.  Subjects include flea markets, social life and customs, and rural life.
