Recordings for JA0067C, Seedtime on the Cumberland Sampler 1990-91, were made on June 1-2, 1990 by Kelly Blair, and egineered by Doug Dorschug and Don Mussell, and on May 31 and June 1, 1991 by Tom Hansell and engineered by Doug Dorschug. Musicians from both years included The Whitetop Mountain Band, Charlie "Uncle Charlie" Osborne, Shelia Adams Barnhill, Walker Calhoun, Jean Ritchie, Owen "Snake" Chapman, Kay Justice and Ginny Hawker, Roan Mountain Hilltoppers, and Ethel Caffie-Austin. The final release was remixed and edited at TriAngle udio in South Charleston, W.Va and engineered by Patrick Arnold.
