Description
The Home Folks, from the Scott County, VA area, included Beachard Smith as singer and fiddler; Paul Davis as lead guitarist; Will Keys on banjo, and Tom Bledsoe, vocalist and rhythm guitarist. The Home Folks became fast friends with Janette Carter and often played in the old store building and later at the Carter Family Fold in Hiltons, Virginia.

Recordings for the 1980 release JA033, Last Chance, were engineered by Jack Wright, Dudley Wilson, John McCutcheon and Tom Bledsoe. The release was produced by John McCutcheon. Musicians included Beachard Smith on vocals and fiddle; Will Keys on banjo; Paul Davis on lead guitar; and Tom Bledsoe on rhythm guitar.

This audio collection consists of of original 1/2-inch recordings, and ¼-inch production masters.
