Description: Jon Sundell was at one time a member of the band the Lick Creek Twisters String Band, and at one time resided in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He is a certified English teacher.

Recordings for the release JA008, The Eagle & the Sparrow, were recorded at June Appal Studio by Jack Wright and Jeff Kiser, and mixed by Jack Wright and Jon Sundell. Musicians included Jon Sundell on lead vocals, harmony vocals, guitar, banjo, authoharp, dulcimer and harmonica; Dan Gammon on harmony vocals and fiddle; Bob Jordon on vocal harmony and guitar; David Burns on fiddle; Meg Burns on vocal harmony; David Doggett on dobro and pedal steel guitar; Jimmy Baird on bass; Jerry Miller on bass; Kevin Weeks on mandolin; and John McCutcheon on concertina.

This audio collection consists of original1/2-inch recordings, and unidentified 1/4-inch recordings.
