This tape features an interview with a highway department road crew supervisor with nearly thirty years experience in charge of prisoner workers from unit 18. He discusses his feelings about prisoners and supervising them. When asked to compare disciplinary procedures from the early part of his career to the present he describes the practice of hanging prisoners by their wrists and hanging them over a fire. The tape ends with a conversation between the supervisor and several members of the road crew.)
