Description
"lost my [s--t] when i found out the inimitable ava duvernay interviewed the legendary dr. angela davis for a special magazine edition edited by ta-nehisi coates, and that an incredible painting of breonna taylor by amy sherald would be the cover. CAN YOU IMAGINE?!?!?! these handmade signs are displayed prominently in the tallest building on main street in downtown corbin. corbin was once a famous sundown town. it was also one of the first places to feature public action as a result of Breonna Taylor's murder and the #BlackLivesMatter resurgence of 2020. these actions spread across eastern kentucky and the world."
