- Description (Exterior of family in front of foliage. Parents are sitting and holding three young daughters on their laps. The couple is Collins and Effie Hollyfield, and the daughters (L-R in birth order) are Odessa Hollyfield Hudson, Collene Hollyfield Combs, and Betty Joyce Hollyfield.
Collins and Effie Hollyfield moved from Greensboro, Alabama to Dunham, Kentucky in 1934. Collins worked for Consolidation Coal Company. After injuries forced him to retire from mine work he created a business selling popcorn from a truck to local residents. The couple raised 12 children in Dunham, where they lived for the remainder of their lives. Appalshop conducted an with the couple in 1991.
