Description
This program is about Senator Ted Kennedy's visit to East Kentucky in 1983. Includes footage of Kennedy speaking in front of the Mud Creek Clinic, hearings at the Boone Senior Citizen's Center, and a panel with Kennedy and Eula Hall. The speeches and conversations are primarily about the poverty and absence of a social safety net in East Kentucky, as well as the work that Eula Hall and the Mud Creek Clinic have done to provide for local communities.
