- Contains two films shot and edited by Carl Zody, an Indiana native who was the Superintendent of Pine Mountain State Park from the 1930s to early 1940s. One film documents the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) work in the park in 1938, and the other is an extended document of Bell County's annual Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival, combining the years 1938 and 1939. An amphitheater and reflection pool constructed by the CCC in the first film is seen being used in the KY Mountain Laurel film as part of the Festival ceremony.
